5. Other matters
Important Notes |
- Students who postponed their thesis defense in the previous semester (2nd semester of 2025) must also apply for a thesis submission approval form. - All required documents can be checked under "Various Guides" and "Various Forms" on the Graduate School website (actual application and submission must use materials printed from the portal, and documents in the "Various Forms" section cannot be used for submission purposes). Unmet requirements, such as GPA, major exams, special lectures on research ethics and thesis writing, and language proficiency, can be met during the semester. ※ Even if the Thesis Submission Approval Letter indicates rejection or similar, there will be no issue if you are accepted during the first semester of 2026. Please submit the documents regardless of the indication. The thesis title on the Thesis Submission Approval Form is not the final title; the title at the time of actual uploading is the final title. (The title written on the Thesis Submission Approval Form is a provisional title, and the final title is to be written when uploading the thesis at the end of the semester.) -[Non-registration] For students admitted before the 2021-2 semester, we plan to collectively register the Special Lecture on Research Ethics and Thesis Writing for you to complete via E-class in April. Starting with freshmen admitted in the Fall 2021 semester, the [Research Ethics and Thesis Writing] course must now be taken via course registration. Therefore, this course is scheduled to be offered temporarily to current students (3rd semester or higher) and those who have completed the course and were admitted prior to the Fall 2021 semester, in order to allow for a grace period regarding the system change and to accommodate those who have already completed the course. (Due to the change to course registration, the operation of this course is scheduled to be discontinued in stages.) Starting with students admitted in the second semester of 2021, completion of coursework and graduation are not possible if the [Research Ethics and Thesis Writing Methods] course has not been completed. - Please note that while there may be omissions or errors in the information displayed on the Thesis Submission Approval Letter, this does not affect the verification of graduation requirements. (Student-related information such as undergraduate background and missing degree number) |
