Under the guidance of Professor Changwon Lim from the Department of Statistics and Data Science, AISTAT Lab members Yunseo Lee, Hyunjun Kim, and Heeseung Shin won third place in the ImageCLEFmedical Caption 2025 Challenge.

The ImageCLEFmedical Caption 2025 Challenge evaluates AI models that automatically detect medical concepts from radiology images, then generate coherent captions and provide explanatory interpretations based on the detected concepts.
